Biography
Jesse Goode
Administrative Law Judge

Judge Jesse Goode joined the Office of Administrative Hearings in June 2005.  He was reappointed to a second term as an Administrative Law Judge in June 2007.

Prior to his selection as an Administrative Law Judge, Judge Goode was in private practice.  During his many years in private practice, Judge Goode handled mostly family law cases in the District of Columbia, with a special emphasis on families in the abuse and neglect, juvenile and special education systems.  Judge Goode found this work to be very rewarding and still maintains contact with some of his former clients.

Judge Goode has also served as the General Counsel for the District of Columbia Department of Human Services, as a staff attorney for the District Government and as an Assistant Attorney General with the Virgin Islands Department of Justice.

Judge Goode obtained his law degree in 1988, and is licensed in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland.
